Leadership/Top Talent Assessment, Coaching & Development

Behaviors are the number one de-railer of executives and hi-potential talent. Coaching, is the most effective on-the-job development tool to keep your most valuable asset with the organization. We offer a three-fold approach that includes:

  • Assessing the specific or potential de-railers.
  • Creating a development plan focused on the identified items that will make the most difference whether they are strengths to overcompensate for deficiencies or strengthening behaviors that need development.
  • Coaching or “working the development plan” by observing, providing just-in-time feedback, a mid-course correction feedback update and action plan.

Leadership EffectivenessThe principles of Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence and Moral Intelligence provides the foundations of our coaching philosophy. These collective elements create an effective leadership model. WH Professional Services, LLC. uses these elements in how it approaches the assessment of individuals, creates the development and action plan(s) and most importantly provides feedback to the individual.

Methodology

Assessment
  • Clarify outcomes with key stakeholders
  • Contract with associate
  • Conduct in-person 360° evaluation with key stakeholders
    • Utilize existing functional competencies and business objectives as assessment measures
    • Provide feedback and develop action plan
Operationalize Development Plan
  • One-hour status calls
    • 2 times a week
      • Purpose: Check on milestones, coach, and debrief what went well and what could have been more effective.
  • Debrief what went well and could have been more effective.
  • Onsite action learning sessions
  • Mid-point check-in with 360° stakeholders on progress made. Make any mid-course corrections if needed.
  • Consultation hours (in person or via telephone)

Note: Initial assessment or mid-year assessment can also be conducted via survey.
